Completion of this course allows a person to apply for the Florida State Concealed Carry Permit (Statute 790.06) at either a FDACS Regional Office or a Tax Collector’s Office.  CCW applicants must provide a valid license and be 21 years or older.  Gun and ammo rental must be secured at time of booking.

This course consists of around 3-4 hours in the classroom and 1-2 hours on the firing range

• Standard safety rules
• Proper grip and stance
• Shooting fundamentals, positions, and qualifications
• Required Federal, State, and local firearm laws
• Required 30 round test shoot
